Powerstrips will normally be assembled (headers attached to fin tubing) on the roof.

Below are the lengths that can be made up with our standard 88 foot rolls of fin tubing (4 inches wide)

For pricing choose the next longer length. You can treat the lengths as average lengths because you'll cut them from 88' long rolls

Consult with Hot Sun by phone or e-mail with help figuring out how much fin tubing is required

If the lengths below result in excessive waste we'll precut custom lengths for you at a 10% surcharge

Choose 1.5" or 2" main pool plumbing. This is size of the pipe solar will tie into.

Solar ties in right after the filter usually.

Will you plumb solar with 2" or with 1.5"? The solar panels are 1.5" so

plumb to and from the collectors using 1.5" unless the run is really long

or the system is more than 800 sq ft. This calculator assumes that if you

plumb in 2" you'll split to 2 banks of 1.5" on the roof.
